Both of these abilities will have non-linear tuning for the Nanite Systems weapons. They'll be significantly more effective on the ES weapons which can be tuned specifically to synergize well without being OP.
Just want to post in here, as in the other thread, to not get hung up on the look here. We're going for gameplay functionality at this phase, this isn't how things are going to look longer term. The larger regions allow us to more accurately encompass each region's combat area so population views, XP, hotspots, instantaction, and a lot of other systems that are based on the "Region" area, which is defined by the hexes, work correctly for people fighting in those facilities.
While it's nice to get feedback on how people would like to see the map look, visualization is not what we're prototyping here. Previously we had to be restrained with the number of hexes on the map because of a performance issue, with that issue gone we were able to make regions sized more appropriately sized to work for gameplay, that's really all this change is about.
